The Petroleum Industry Christian Fellowship International [PICFI] was birthed in Warri, Delta State of Nigeria on June10-11, 2005 when the two major active Fellowships in the Oil and Gas Industry [The Oil Industry Christian Fellowship and Petroleum Industry Christian Fellowship of Nigeria [PICFEN] came together to form one united Christian Organisation [PICO].
Subsequently, the fellowship has been registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission in 2012 as Petroleum Industry Christian Fellowship International [PICFI].
The fellowship is organized across the country by Zones. There are currently six Zones namely:Â
1. Abuja
2. Bonny
3. Eket
4. Lagos
5. Port Harcourt
6. Warri
Establishing the kingdom of God in the Petroleum Industry.
We are incorporated under the Trade and Business Laws of Nigeria as an association of workers and entreprenuers in the Oil and Gas Industry who subscribe to our constitution.Â
The two major active Christian Fellowships in the Oil and Gas Industry, namely, The Oil Industry Christian Fellowship and the Petroleum Industry Christian Fellowship of Nigeria [PICFEN] came together to form one united Petroleum Industry Christian Organisation [PICO] in Warri, Delta State of Nigeria between June 10 - 11, 2005.
The fellowship was subsequently registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) of Nigeria as the Petroleum Industry Christian Fellowship International (PICFI), pronounced as "pik-fai".Â
