Stand Up and Live for Jesus in a Perverse World

Stand Up and Live for Jesus in a Perverse World

You may as well know this too, Timothy, that in the last days it is going to be very difficult to be a Christian (1 Timothy 3:1 Living Bible).

Indeed we are living in a perverse world where godliness has become a crime. Righteousness which is the scale of God seems to be old fashion. Even the Church seems to be operating with the capitalist principles of this present world. There is a strong marriage between the church and the world system. Sin is having a field day in the church not sparing the pulpit. There is confusion everywhere. Christian music in our time is a huge joke. Christian principles and values are compromised. Nevertheless, the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal. THE LORD KNOWETH THOSE WHO ARE HIS. And, let every one that nameth the name of the Christ depart from iniquity (1 Tim. 2:19).

Our consolation is that, God is not confused about who genuinely belongs to Him. He has placed a seal on them.

No Compromise

Despite all the happenings, the Lord expects every genuine child of His to live by His principles. God has made available all it takes to stand firm in His counsel. There is grace that teaches us to say no to sin and ungodliness in this present world. Grace that teaches us to say no to sin. Any grace that promotes sin is a creation of the pit of hell and must be resisted with all your strength. We must live for Jesus and discard every earthly pleasure. We must stand committed to the truth. We must stand and live for Jesus.
